Our Health Initiative tackles the root causes of poor health in Dalit, tribal, homeless, and marginalized communities— through mental health advocacy, sexual education, nutrition support, and community healthcare access.

Sexuality education is empowerment. DVAS creates open, stigma-free spaces where adolescents—especially girls—can explore:

Physical changes during puberty
Sexual identity, consent, and healthy relationships
Menstrual hygiene and body dignity

Our Sanitary Pad ATM Machines provide safe, easy, and stigma-free access to menstrual products for thousands of young girls and women.

Nourishment is a Right, Not a Privilege

Bihar has one of the highest malnutrition rates in India. DVAS is on a mission to change that—starting with its most vulnerable.

Ambedkar Nutrition cum Education Centers (Morwa & Tajpur)
4,500+ children aged 6 months–5 years receive nutritious meals
Pregnant women receive vaccinations and health support
Diets include milk, fruits, oats, and eggs for healthy growth
Awareness campaigns on balanced diets, cooking, and care
